Golden has more than 40 managed recreational trials and sites. The Kicking Horse Pedestrian Bridge is the longest covered authentic timber frame bridge in Canada measuring 150 feet in length. The bridge was built by the hands of volunteers from 5 countries! Home to the highest concentration of backcountry operators in BC, Golden is surrounded by several famous parks! Rainy Day and you don't feel like spending the day being wet?  Jet boat safaris on the Columbia River are good to go, the boats convertible roofs go on and we're off on a memorable and comfortable rainy day adventure!
